Prime Day is one of my favorite times of the year. Time to scoop up low prices, sometimes better than Black Friday. The best part is that you can do it without the crowds, early mornings or rushing around! Over the last few years lots of retailers have joined in on the fun as well!
This will be my 5th year working on Amazon prime and I have learned a few things during my time on what to buy and what to avoid buying so you can get the most bang for your buck.
Things to buy!
#1 Amazon devices! One of the items I scooped up last year was the Kindle fire. This has been a perfect tablet for my youngest to be able to watch shows and play games. Keep your eye out for more Amazon devices such as Fire sticks, Echo dots, Echo shows, and the Kindles, all of which were top sellers during Prime day 2021!
#2 Kitchen Items! A few years back the Ninja Foodie was a top selling item and on I personally grabbed. Two years later this is our most used appliance, and we were able to score it for less than Black Friday prices!
#3 Fashion! I tend to scope out some of my favorite designers on Amazon and watch the prices drop! Last year my favorite fashion grab were these Sam Edelman Circus sandals! Perfect to dress up or down and enough comfort to wear all day!
#4 Beauty! My absolute favorite beauty grab from last year was my lip gloss from Haus Laboratories. This gloss is light, non sticky and the perfect amount of color! Best part? Prime day brought savings of 70 percent! You can expect major slash in prices from both designer and non designer brands!
#5 Games and Toys! My family and I love to grab extra games for game night! Qwixx is a great grab for all ages! This is the perfect time to grab extra toys, board games and more for summer birthdays and rainy day fun!
Things to Avoid!
While most things are normally reasonably priced throughout the year on Amazon there are a few things to avoid!
#1 Things you do not need. Do not get sucked into buying things just because you might miss the sale.
#2 Items that appear to not be that good of a sale, your best bet for this is to know prices, follow me here (link to facebook) or ask around!
